Ingredients:
- 1 large cabbage head
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup cooked rice
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup diced bell pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions:
Remove the core from the cabbage head and carefully separate the leaves
Blanch the leaves in boiling water for a few minutes to soften them
Drain and set aside
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked rice, diced onion, diced bell pepper, egg, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper
Mix well
Place a cabbage leaf flat on a clean surface and add a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center
Roll up the leaf, tucking in the sides, to create a stuffed cabbage roll
Repeat with the remaining leaves and filling
Preheat your air fryer to 375F 190C
Lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray
Place the stuffed cabbage rolls in the air fryer basket, seam side down, in a single layer
You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer
Air fry the cabbage rolls for 15-20 minutes, turning them halfway through, until they are golden brown and the beef is cooked through
While the cabbage rolls are cooking, heat the tomato sauce in a saucepan on the stovetop
Serve the air-fried stuffed cabbage rolls with warm tomato sauce drizzled on top
Enjoy your delicious Air Fryer Stuffed Cabbage Rolls!
