Ingredients:
- 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded Gruyre cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions:
Preheat your air fryer to 375F 190C
In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and pepper
Mix well
Layer half of the thinly sliced potatoes in the bottom of an air fryer-safe dish
Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes
Sprinkle half of the shredded Gruyre and grated Parmesan cheese over the potatoes and cream mixture
Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cream mixture, and cheeses
Drizzle melted butter over the top layer of cheese
Place the dish in the preheated air fryer and cook for 25-30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown
Check the gratin occasionally to prevent burning; you may need to adjust the cooking time based on your air fryer model
Once done, remove the aardappelgratin from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before serving
Garnish with fresh thyme leaves, if desired
Enjoy your delicious MamsAtWork Aardappelgratin made in the air fryer!
